Experienced Louisiana Judge
Judge Anthony Eaves is an experienced Louisiana judge, a former criminal prosecutor, community volunteer and family man.
Judge Eaves strongly supports our Constitution and the rule of law.
For nearly a decade, Judge Eaves has served the people of Louisiana as a District Court judge, having been elected with 60% of the vote. As a judge, Anthony Eaves has earned a reputation for fairness and integrity while sitting on the bench. Judge Eaves is now our 2024 candidate for an open seat on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal.
Criminal Prosecutor
Prior to his service on the bench, Judge Eaves worked as a prosecuting Assistant District Attorney. He has been a business owner as an attorney in private practice.
Judge Eaves is a graduate of McNeese State University in Lake Charles and LSU Law school. In addition, Anthony holds a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Qualified Jurist
Judge Eaves has presided over serious murder trials and other significant cases impacting our communities.
He is a Member of the Third Circuit Judges’ Association, the Louisiana Bar Association, the Louisiana District Judges’ Association, the 30th JDC Bar Association.
Judge Eaves is also a personal member of the Cattlemen’s Association.
Family Man
Anthony and his wife Jana have three children, two daughters and one son.
Judge Eaves is a lifelong citizen of Louisiana.
